Printing Large with ELEGOO!

ELEGOO contacted See3D, impressed by their work in connecting people who are blind and sighted through 3D printing, and offered a new 3D printer which was used in two tactile map projects. The projects included a hotel map for the American Council of the Blind of Ohio and Indiana conference, featuring braille and raised print, and a large, detailed map of a 200+ acre property for a blind landowner. These maps, made possible by the Neptune 3 Plus's large build plate, highlight ELEGOO's commitment to inclusivity and support for See3D's mission to enhance accessibility through 3D printing.

Jenine Stanley: Aira Representative, Game of Thrones Fan, and See3D Model Recipient

Jenine Stanley is the Director of Customer Communications for Aira. Aira is an app that allows people who are blind or low vision to connect with sighted agents virtually. The agent can see through the customer’s device camera to provide descriptions. People often use Aira to provide descriptions, read signs, and access transportation, to name a few. She described the visual interpreters as the “eyes in your pocket.” Jenine curates the social media posts and newspaper articles for Aira, and one article will be featured from the San Francisco Chronicle.
